# Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Samurai TCG. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
## All Sales Are Final
Due to the price-fluctuating and collectible nature of trading cards, **all sales at Samurai TCG are final**. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations after an order has been placed, except under the specific conditions listed below.
## Cancellations
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. Please carefully review your cart, shipping address, and product details before completing your purchase. If you need to modify an order, please contact us at support@samuraitcg.shop immediately; however, modifications are not guaranteed and are offered at our sole discretion.
## Card Condition Disclaimer
Samurai TCG sells authentic Japanese trading cards sourced from retailers, distributors, and collectors in Japan. Buyers should understand and accept the following:
- **Factory imperfections**: Japanese trading cards, including but not limited to Weiss Schwarz, Build Divide, Union Arena, Lycée, Holo-card, and similar products, are widely known within the TCG community to contain minor factory imperfections inherent to their manufacturing process. These may include, but are not limited to, minor edge whitening, surface print lines, off-centering, and small dents caused during production. Such characteristics are NOT considered defects and are NOT eligible for refund or replacement.
- **Not graded unless specified**: Unless explicitly listed as "PSA", "BGS", "CGC", or similarly graded, all cards are sold as ungraded collector items. We do not guarantee perfect or "Mint" condition.
- **Photos available on request**: Customers may request condition photos of a specific card BEFORE placing an order. Once an order is placed, the customer is deemed to have accepted the product's condition.
## Eligible Refund Conditions
We will issue a refund or replacement only in the following cases:
### 1. Non-Delivery
If your package is confirmed lost or undelivered by the shipping carrier (FedEx, EMS, or Japan Post) AND no delivery confirmation is available, we will investigate and issue a refund or replacement after the carrier's official investigation is complete.
### 2. Wrong Item Shipped
If we ship an item different from what you ordered (verified against our pre-shipment photos), we will issue a full refund or send the correct item upon return of the incorrect item at our expense.
### 3. Damage in Transit (with strict conditions)
Damage claims are accepted ONLY if ALL the following conditions are met:
- **Reported within 48 hours** of the delivery timestamp recorded by the shipping carrier.
- **Unboxing video evidence** showing the package being opened from a sealed state is required. Photos alone are NOT sufficient.
- **Photos of the damaged packaging** (outer box, bubble wrap, toploader, sleeve) must be provided.
- **Photos of the damaged card** from multiple angles must be provided.
- **Pre-shipment photos on file** must show that the alleged damage was NOT present at the time of shipping.
Claims that do not meet ALL five conditions will not be eligible for refund.
## Exclusions
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- Post-delivery damage caused by the customer, weather, third parties, or unsigned doorstep delivery exposure.
- Factory imperfections inherent to Japanese trading cards (see Card Condition Disclaimer).
- Change of mind, buyer's remorse, or dissatisfaction with visual appearance after delivery.
- Damage claims reported more than 48 hours after delivery.
- Damage claims without unboxing video evidence.
- Items damaged by customs inspection.
- Orders where the customer previously requested a discount and was declined before delivery.
## Refund Process
If your refund claim meets the eligibility conditions:
1. Contact us at **support@samuraitcg.shop** with your order number and supporting evidence.
2. We will review your claim within 5 business days.
3. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
## Chargeback Policy
Filing a chargeback with your credit card company without first contacting us and completing our refund claim process constitutes a breach of this policy. We document all transactions thoroughly (including pre-shipment photos, packing records, and customer correspondence) and will vigorously dispute any chargeback that does not qualify under our eligible refund conditions. Customers who file fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to relevant platforms and blacklisted from future purchases.
